INVALID REGISTRATION NUMBER

The Registration Number was used on older software products. It is no longer used. (Since we have no cost updates, it is the customer's responsibility to keep their product updated.)

If you have reinstalled a product and it is asking for a Registration Number, it is an outdated product since we no longer use the Registration Number method. It could be that you are reinstalling from a download file you saved years ago.

Do you have the latest version of the product? You can check the version history for your product at UPDATE.

All of our products include FREE udpates. If you have not kept your product up to date, then we simply assume that you removed it from your computer and no longer use it otherwise we would have a record indicating that you updated the product.

If you failed to keep the product up to date, our new product Licensing system does not have you in our new database.

One reason we offer FREE updates is to keep our technical support costs very low. By keeping your product up to date, you have the latest version including possibly new features. One new Serial Number feature added over years ago (about May 2001) was a new Licensing system. If you had updated your present product within the last year or so, you would be part of this new system and not be having the problem you are now having.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? You need to download and install the SAME product you originally purchased. Do so at UPDATE but do no go there yet! READ ON . . .

THERE IS A SERVICE CHARGE!

You will need to repurchase the product by pressing the built-in ORDER button. This will reLicense the product to you. Next, and this is very important . . .

Inform our sales staff that you made a repurchase to update your out of date product and that you are to be charged only the Service Charge (see below) and not full price. If you fail to send this email, you will be charged full price.

MAKE CERTAIN YOU ARE REPURCHASING THE SAME PRODUCT YOU ORIGINALLY PURCHASED. WE HAVE MANY PRODUCTS OF THE SAME NAME BUT IN DIFFERENT EDITIONS. These include:

SERVICE CHARGE The amount of the service charge is 50% of the current price of the product rounded to the nearest dollar. For example, if your product is $29.95, the Service Charge is $15.00.
