I've lost my data using the BACKUP/RESTORE button!

It happens! Sometimes, when you attempt to use the BACKUP/RESTORE button to restore your data files, the progress bar seems to stop part way across. Then you find that your data files give you an error when you attempt to edit the Guest List. And, in the case of the Guest List, if it has become corrupted, it will automatically build a new, empty Guest List.

This problem results from a failure in either your floppy disk drive or the floppy disk itself. We always suggest that you use a fresh floppy disk to make your backups.

Unfortunately there is no cure if either your disk drive or floppy disk is bad. You will have to reenter your data. That is a good reason to print hard copy of your Guest List. The software includes that feature.

ED/iT can attempt to reconstruct your Guest List. We have been able, in some cases to restore most of a corrupted Guest List. Because of the difficulty in doing this, we have a $25 fee.

Send the floppy disk along with a Postal Money Order to:

Please include your name, address, and telephone number along with the product Name and Edition. We will contact you and advise you of the servicability of the disk. If we are successful, we can email you the corrected data file.
