DOWNLOADING After you click on a download, the file is TRANSFERRED to your computer. When complete, you click on the filename, and it INSTALLS. After the installer completes, the software appears under your Windows Program Menu and an ICON is also placed on your DESKTOP. You simply click on the ICON to run the product.

TRANSFERRED Whenever you download something from the Internet, your browser activates a 'dialog' offering you a choice or LOCATION for the file. DO NOT put the file in your default My Documents folder. It is not a Document. It instead is a software installer . . . just like a software installation disk. We suggest that you create a folder on your Drive C called \Web\/Downloads\ and you put such downloads in that folder. Then you will know where to look for it after the download completes.

The 'dialog' also has RUN and SAVE buttons. Before you press SAVE, write down both the location you are saving it to AND the NAME OF THE FILE. Typically, our files are named something like E968203.EXE (where the 968203 is our product number). Then you select SAVE so that the download file is placed on your computer. (If you select RUN instead, the file is not placed on your computer, but instead runs from the Internet.)

The 'dialog' not only has the RUN and SAVE buttons, but also offers you a place or location for the download file. The 'dialog' shows a 'progress bar' while the software is being sent to you.

AFTER THE DOWNLOAD you 'find the file' based on where you saved it. Simply double-click on the filename (it was shown in the 'dialog).

INSTALLATION We repeat that the download file is the same as what you might have on a 'store-bought' installation disk. Our Installer will then extract the software product and register it with the Windows Operating System for both your use and also with your Control Panels' Remove Software feature (in case you later wish to remove it.

The INSTALLER places the software product on your Windows Program Menu so you can find it and any of its accessories and also puts one or more ICONS on your DESKTOP. To run the product, you can either use your Program Menu or click on the ICON.

RUNNING THE SOFTWARE The first time one of our Try-Before-Buy products runs, it requires your Internet connection be active so that the Trial Period can be enabled. Then, you no longer need be connected. IT DOES NOT REQUIRE FULL TIME INTERNET CONNECTION. IT IS NOT SPYWARE. We are simply recording your activation so that you can later either purchase it or remove it.

UNINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE If you do not like the product, you can uninstall it. Most of our products offer this uninstall option each time you exit the software. (We try to make it easy.) Again, to uninstall, you simply make sure your Internet Connection is active.
