Date/Time Screen
Ok, we're getting a bit more complicated so lets do this one by
one. This screen lets you enter your wedding date and time along
with your Respond due date and Reception Time.
DATE - You simply click on the calendar features to find
your wedding date. When you click on the date, we automatically
convert the date to the proper script format for your invitation.
You can see this displayed in the "Wedding Date and Time"
frame in the upper right corner.
TIME - Your wedding time is entered (below the calendar)
using the little scroll buttons to move the clock time in either
15 minute or 1 minute steps. Don't forget to click AM or PM so
that your wording reflects "in the afternoon" for
example.
RESPOND CARD DUE DATE - When you click on the calendar,
we automatically preset your Respond Card due date to the socially
accepted two weeks prior to the event. If you wish to have some
other respond due date, you would press the Change Date button and
then the calendar to select your desired date.
RECEPTION TIME - You do the same thing to set your
Reception Time. Normally, "Reception immediately follows
ceremony" is sufficient in the wording. Here, whatever time
your select might be displayed as "Reception follows at two
o'clock in the afternoon" properly scripted automatically.
What if your Reception is on a different day? Unlikely, but you
can manually edit your wording to account for this ususual
situation.
We repeat, you do not have to enter any of this information.
When you go to play with your wording, you can type anything you
want. We just want to get you started with the PROPER way to see
SOCIALLY CORRECT WORDINGS. Once you know what is correct, YOU can
deviate from those standards.
Ok, before we rush off the view an Invitation Wording, we want
you to see the most powefull management feature of this software
product. Let's take a look at . . . |
