Event Selector
This very simple screen lets you pick an event from the pull
down list. This changes the software completely depending on the
event you choose. The most important change is that all the
wordings are reset to be appropriate for the event you select.
Only certain buttons are enabled. For example, the Graduation
event has no need for At Home Cards or Reception Invitations.
Various titles are changed. You certainly don't want to enter the
graduates name using the Brides name entry box do you?
You can enter a more descriptive name for the event. Instead of
just having the title, Graduation, you might call it John's
Graduation.
One neat feature of the Event Selector is that you can maintain
separate Guest Lists for every event. But we know that it is very
tedious to retype an entire guest list so we include a feature
which lets you COPY a guest list that you may have already created
FROM ONE EVENT TO A NEW EVENT.
You can do this on the right side. You pull down the list on the
right side which also has event names. When you select one, it
tells you how many guests are on that guest list. You then press
DONE and it will copy your Wedding Guest List to your newly
selected Graduation event.
The Event Selector not only keeps separate Guest Lists, Wordings
and so on, but also lets you select different paper stocks.
